Throughout the year the FAA Safety Team
National Resource Center hosts numerous seminars
concerning many aspects of aviation. Feature topics include:
Acrobatics, Helicopters, Search & Rescue, Ultralights, Balloons,
Experimental, Air Carrier, Corporate, and Seaplane presentations.
The FAA has developed the Studio Area
of the FAA National Resource Center at the Sun 'n Fun Complex,
Lakeland Linder Regional Airport, Lakeland, Florida into "The
Place" where outstanding presentations are delivered in
an unforgettable surrounding.
The FAA Production Studio is a “working
studio/training academy!” You and the audience may be part
of a video presentation that is produced, directed, and recorded
for wide distribution, promoting accident-free aircraft operations.
The facility provides live and taped broadcast programs for the
Aviation Training Network, the Government Educational Training
Network, and the Florida Aviation Network. The studio provides
FAA personnel and volunteers with "hands-on" experience,
which enable them to direct and create professional quality video
productions with a wide variety of recording equipment and lighting.
Industry, organizations, and individuals
are encouraged to attend and participate in safety presentations.
You will gain an understanding of the FAA’s concept of improving
services to customers and employees through partnership and cooperation.
Feature seminar productions begin at 0900
and run to approximately 1500. Because of the popularity of many
of the seminars, you may want to arrive early as seating is limited.
